New JOB

After 13 successful years at Vedros and Associates, I have decided to part ways and work independently as a photographer. I have enjoyed working with the wonderful individuals at Vedros and Associates. I plan to still work with Mike McCorkle for many of my retouching needs, and will rent equipment from Nick when needed.

Meanwhile I will be renting studio space in the River Market near downtown Kansas City. For more of the most up to date information please visit my website at http://www.hopkinsphotography.com, follow me on twitter, facebook, Linkedin, or check out my blog.

I will continue shooting during this transition so please don’t hesitate to contact me by any of the forms of communication listed below.

Habitue Coffee Ad

This was a project I directed with Barkley.  It was fun to Direct and produce.  The Coffee show is doing really well.

Sprite image

So this last week I produced some new images.  This is one of them.  I found this sprite can at the grocery store and had to photograph it.  Next step is onto the website.  Hope you enjoy.

This was a fun project I photographed a few years ago.  Fun project for Delta tech.  Now they're using it on facebook.  This was a random find, but fun to see.

Peppers

This is a new image.  I've been working on flash durations, and creating some fun images in the studio.  Hope you enjoy.

A day in Montana

This is an image I took while on a job shooting in Montana.  I'm not sure why I didn't use it or add it to my portfolio.  It's now one of my favorites.

Stem Photo

We took several different images to produce the single white and red rose splash.  Hope you enjoy.

Hopkins Photography photographs Barware

Gabe Hopkins photographer completed this project in late June.  He photographed each glass separately then combining them in post via photoshop CS5.  A simple image, with a complex lighting scheme.  These glasses are not glass but a high end resin that will not scratch.  You might start to see them at your local bar or restaurant.

The simple delight of ice cream, made far more rewarding.

Intensely pure, all natural ingredients and deliciously surprising flavor pairings that could only bear the signature of Christopher Elbow.

Take a moment to go relax and enjoy the amazing Artisan Ice Cream.
